In an effort to support the Omni Shoreham Hotel, our 2017 host hotel, and keep registration fees lower, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce provides the following housing policy:

Save $200 on your registration fee by staying within the official SBS housing block at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. The deadline to book a hotel reservation is Friday, August 18, 2017.

Attendees that have not booked a hotel room in the official U.S. Chamber of Commerce housing block by August 9th will be charged the additional $200 prior to the start of the conference. For questions on this policy, please contact SBSeries@uschamber.com.

Is a discounted hotel room block available for attendees?

Yes, Summit attendees receive a discounted room rate of $295 per night at the Omni Shoreham. The hotel is approximately 2 blocks from the Woodley Park-Zoo Metro Station and conveniently located near a variety of dining options and area attractions. You will want your laptop or other mobile device on hand to take notes during the interactive sessions. Free Wi-Fi will be provided throughout the main conference floors at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.

Is there a Dress Code for this event?

Yes, the dress code for The Small Business Summit is business casual. This includes the summit sessions as well as the networking events. We do suggest you bring a sweater or dress in layers, as the conference room temperatures can fluctuate.

The dress code for the Dream Big Awards Celebration on Tuesday, September 12th is cocktail or business.

What are your policies for cancellations, refunds, and transfers?

All refund requests must be received in writing via email (SBSeries@uschamber.com) and will be issued within 30 days. The following is our refund. All cancellations are subject to a $100 administrative fee.

  • Cancellations received by July 14th at 5:00 PM EST will be refunded 100% of payment, less the administration fee.
  • Cancellations received between July 13th and August 11th by 5:00 PM EST will be refunded 50% of payment, less the administrative fee.
  • Cancellations received after August 14th will not be eligible for a refund, and only entitled to transfer attendance to an individual from the same company or organization. The substitute attendee name must be submitted on or before Friday, September 8th.

In the event the U.S. Chamber of Commerce must cancel the event, you will be notified accordingly and registration fees will be fully refunded within 30 business days.
