Join us in Washington, D.C. for the Dream Big Awards Celebration!

Big dreams deserve big rewards, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the very best in American small business.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce knows firsthand that small businesses are the backbone of American free enterprise, representing more than 99% of all employers, creating three-fourths of all new jobs, and accounting for more than one-half of the nation’s gross domestic product.

The Dream Big Small Business of the Year Awards program honors the achievements of small businesses and highlights their contributions to America’s economic growth.


The $25,000 Prize!

The countdown is on to find the best small businesses in America! The 2017 Dream Big Small Business of the Year Award winner will receive a $25,000 cash prize and national recognition at the Small Business Summit in Washington, D.C.



A business must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Dream Big Small Business of the Year Award or a Business Achievement Award:

  • Operates primarily within the United States
  • Have less than 250 employees
  • Gross revenues of less than $20 million in 2015 and 2016
  • Provide support (in-kind and/or financial) to their community
  • Must be able to attend the Small Business Summit in Washington, D.C.


Non-members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce must submit a $25 online, application fee. Members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce must provide an active U.S. Chamber of Commerce membership number to have the application fee waived.
